Departmental Responsibilities

  • To help the student in his/her Academic matters by providing them support and guidance.
  • To have regular communication within and among the departments on a timely basis.
  • To communicate to the new student cohort relevant information pertaining to the course and progression opportunities available at the beginning of the course.
  • To ensure that the course objectives and graduate attributes of the hosted programmes are imparted during the course of their education and assessment.
  • To lead the new faculty recruit (full time and part time) to understand the system, culture and the requirement of the programme with ease.
  • To ensure organized and innovative delivery of academic content.
  • Integrate IT in the delivery of the course.
  • To reiterate the role of faculty as a service provider.
  • To understand and evaluate the teaching and student handling skills of the faculty teaching on the various courses on the programme conducted by the department.
  • To promote a meaningful dialogue about teaching in order to raise the standard of teaching and improve teaching quality.
