Introduction

The College Library is the hub of the academic activities of the College. It is well equipped and well stocked with books and national and international journals catering to the different courses being offered by the College. The library has an open shelf system which allows the reader to get an idea about the different books which deal with one specific subject. The collection is constantly being updated. The library is committed to supporting the academic work of students by providing access to information that supports learning and research. The library has digital resources which are useful for students and faculty researches.

    There is a collection of over 16550 books in the College's library useful for research, assignments and reference purposes.

    The services delivered by the library include the following:

    1. Paper-based resources i.e. books, periodicals, professional journals, magazines and daily newspapers. 2. Internet access. 3. Open-access IT, audio-visual and other media.

    The library has a large study area, computers and internet access for the students to use. The library also has an electronic research engine called EBSCO, which aids students in their reference work and research.

    Sunday to Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m
    Friday & Saturday Closed

Guidelines

  • The library is a place of quiet reading and a place of referencing and research.
  • Silence is required in the Library. The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited.
  • The consumption of food and drink is not permitted.
  • No offensive use of internet or chatting of any kind.
  • Computers are to be logged off after use
  • Newspapers should be returned to their shelf after reading.
  • Bags and suitcases should be left at librarian’s desk.
  • Books should be left on the table after reading.
  • Users are responsible for keeping the Library materials and property in good condition.
  • Keep the Library clean.
  • Users are not allowed to use the Librarian's computer.
  • Closing time of the Library is 8.00 p.m. Users should leave 5 minutes earlier.
