  • Dr. Abdullah Al Riyami

    Assistant Professor at CBFS. His experience spans over 13 years. He previously held the position of Head of Mass Communication Department at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS). He holds a PhD in Communication Arts and Sciences from Michigan State University, Michigan, USA and Master of Communication from Bond University, Australia. He conducts training in crisis communication, digital marketing, public relations and branding, science/health/risk communication and corporate social responsibility.

  • Dr. Ahmed Al Abdali

    Assistant Professor at CBFS. His teaching career started at SQU as an English language lecturer for about two decades and for the past four years, in addition to his teaching duties, he served as a Deputy Director of the Centre of Community Service and Continuing Education, SQU. He earned a BA in English Language, SQU, and an MA and a PhD in Education from the 6th best Faculty of Education in the world at the time, Monash University, Australia. He has worked in different national projects and served in various national committees in Oman, published translations. He conducts training in business communication and business writing.

  • Ms. Aisha Al Mandhari

    Lecturer at CBFS. She has over two decades of diverse expertise in HR consultancy/Office administration and academics. She graduated with high distinction from Griffith University, Brisbane Australia with Master’s degree in Human Resource Management. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Sultan Qaboos University. Her areas of training expertise are human resource audit, performance management, change management.

  • Dr. Binu James Mathew

    Assistant Professor and former Deputy Head (Academic), Quality Assurance Unit at CBFS. He has over 28 years of teaching, training and research experience in English language and general management subjects. Previously, he worked with the University of Mumbai and Institute of Management Studies, India. He holds a PhD from IIT Bombay, MA & M.Phil. (Research) in English, and MBA in Customer Relationship Management and is certified as a Cambridge University CELTAqualified teacher and an IELTS trainer. He conducts training in business communication, business writing, customer service, teamwork, presentation skills and soft skills.

  • Ms. Dina Al Maimani

    Deputy Director- PG Studies Research & Innovation Department at CBFS and Strathclyde Business School’s Oman Centre Manager. She has over 17 years of experience in varied fields (including Banking, Marketing and Media). She has an MBA (with Merit) from Strathclyde Business School (with Project Distinction in Entrepreneurship Studies) and holds a BSc in English Language and Literature from SQU. She teaches “Scenario Planning & Strategy” for MBA . She is winner of Al Mar’a Excellence Award 2022 for “ Omani Woman Achiever in Educational Service”.

  • Mr. Hibathul Careem Feroskhan

    Assistant Lecturer at CBFS. He has over 20 years of experience in teaching and training across Oman, Seychelles, and Sri Lanka. He has an MBA with merit from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, and a BBA from the University of Colombo. He has also completed ACCA and holds professional certifications in marketing and in Global Financial Compliance from CISI, UK. He conducts training in corporate credit analysis, financial accounting, management accounting, and financial analysis.

  • Dr. K. Rajesh Nayak

    Director - Training at CBFS. He has over 25 years of banking and training experience. His last position was Head of Training and Development at National Bank of Oman (NBO). He is a double Graduate in Commerce and Law, a double Postgraduate in Commerce and Business Administration (MBA) and a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). He has a Doctorate in Business Administration. He holds various professional certifications including Omega Credit Skills Development, Creative Train the Trainer, NLP for Trainers, Kirkpatrick Certificate in Training Evaluation, besides the Introduction to Investments, Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ) and International Certificate in Wealth and Investment Management (ICWIM) of CISI, UK. He also has a Certificate of Occupational Assessment (Levels A & B) from British Psychological Society and Advanced Diploma in Credit from the Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIB), Scotland. He has attended Executive Development programs on Leadership and Strategy by Queens School of Business, Canada, K3 Performance, UK and Bridges Consulting, Singapore. He has been the reviewer for a book on Management published in USA. He conducts training on corporate credit, risk management, law, anti-money laundering, finance and accounting.

  • Ms. Hind Al Saadi

    Lecturer at the Centre for Preparatory Studies of CBFS. She has 12 years of experience in teaching in higher education institutions. She was previously Deputy Director of the Language Centre at Muscat College. She is registered as an external reviewer at OAAAQA. She has done her MSc in Educational Leadership from University of Leicester, Bachelor’s in English Language and Literature from SQU and Professional Diploma in Teaching from Ajman University. She conducts training in communication skills and business writing.

  • Mr. M. Gnanendran

    Lecturer at CBFS. He is a qualified Chartered Global Management Accountant of UK. He started his career in accountancy at KPMG Sri Lanka. He subsequently worked in many commercial organizations including Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka. He conducts training in finance, accounting and internal audit.

  • Mr. Mirza Jamal Ahmed

    College Registrar at CBFS. He has more than 17 years of experience in administration, teaching, training and research and development. He has practical expertise in machine learning, image recognition, forensics analysis, project management, network administration, database designing and administration, e-learning technologies, information security, cloud computing, and general-purpose applications. He is certified in Managing Cyber Security from CISI, UK and completed Oracle DBA and Developer from NICON. He holds MCS and MS/M.Phil. Computer Science degrees and currently perusing PhD in IT. He conducts training in MS Office applications.

  • Mr. Mohamed Farzan

    Lecturer at CBFS. He holds an MBA from the University of Jayawardenapura with a merit grade and is a member of CIMA, UK. He serves as adjunct faculty for the University of Bradford and a local counsellor for the University of Strathclyde. Additionally, he is an ACCA instructor. He holds CIMA Diploma in Islamic Finance. In addition to his lecturing career, he has industry exposure working for leading companies such as UTOPIA group in Sri Lanka. He is the first certified trainer by CISI, UK in Oman and holds their following certifications - Introduction to Securities and Investment, Certificate in Wealth Management, Certificate in Investment Management, Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ) and Advanced Wealth Management and financial advice. He conducts training in finance, investments, wealth management and Islamic Finance.

  • Dr. Mythili Kollurut

    Assistant Professor at CBFS. She is a certified Strategic Planning Professional and Chief Strategy Officer of Funkeyb, a London-based Management Consultancy firm. She is the author of the widely recognized “Strategic Thinking Wheel” framework and a book on strategic management. She is also a holder of several copyrights, including the Strategic Thinking Wheel and the Career Decisionmaking Grid. She conducts training in strategic management, coaching skills, organizational studies, and international business.

  • Dr. Roslin Lazarus

    Assistant Professor in Professional Studies and UG Department at CBFS. She has over 20 of experience in teaching financial accounting and Management Accounting modules to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Oman and in India. Her areas of specialization include financial accounting and management accounting modules. She holds a master‘s degree in Commerce and PhD in Commerce. To her credit are published papers in international journals and research papers presented at international conferences. She holds professional certification in the “Introduction to Securities & Investment (International)” paper of CISI, UK. She has completed the IFRS certificate course from AICPA & CIMA. Has earned a GFIN status by successfully completing standard setting Professional Banking Fundamentals (PBF) of FINSIA’s (Australia) and Chartered Banker Institute, the UK in Aug 2020 and has also completed Business Banking module of Certified Professional Banker course of FINSIA (Australia) in February 2022.

  • Ms. Samia Al Jahwari

    Lecturer at CBFS. She has 18 years of experience in teaching and training. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration from SQU. She conducts training on a variety of IT-related topics.

  • Mr. Sayyed Mohammad Danish

    Lecturer at CBFS. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, master’s in Management Studies and M.Phil. in Operations Management. He holds the ASQ certifications of Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) and Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB). He is also certified Manager of Quality/ Organisational Excellence (CMOQ/OE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Process Analyst (CQPA), Certified Quality Technician (CQT) and Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) by the American Society for Quality. Additionally, he has obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, USA, and conducts training in the areas of service quality, project management, process management, and soft skills.

  • CA. Sujatha Bhat

    Senior Lecturer at CBFS. She is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI, India and holds M. Com degree. She has over 2 decades of experience in auditing, taxation and teaching. She is a program leader for ACCA and CAT at CBFS. She conducts training in finance, accounting and budgeting.

  • Mr. T.T.A. Rohanaraj

    Director of Undergraduate Studies Department at CBFS. He holds an MBA from University of Wales (UK) and Professional PG Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK. He has nearly 20 years of teaching experience and over 8 years of corporate experience in marketing both FMCG and service products. He has held leadership positions in some of the leading companies in Sri Lanka. He is also a Certified Entrepreneurship Educator. He conducts training in sales and marketing.

  • Mr. Vaheed Z. Ubaidullah

    Director of Continuing Education Department at CBFS. He earlier worked as an Associate in the area of Finance and Control at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore. He has done Bachelor’s in commerce and MBA in Finance. He has 4 certifications of CISI, UK - Global Securities, Operational Risk, Derivatives and Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ). He conducts training in finance, risk management, treasury and investments.

  • Dr. Yaqoob Al Ghatrifi

    Assistant Professor at CBFS. He has PhD in Education from the University of Reading, MA and BA in TESOL (both from the University of Leeds). He has vast teaching experience of over two decades. He is a registered external programme reviewer for the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA). His training expertise is in the areas of business communication, business writing and management.

  • Mr. Yaqoub Al Abri

    Director of IT at CBFS. Over the course of his 18 years of experience in five organizations, he has contributed to the establishment of several national projects, including the Muscat and Salalah airports, SalamAir and Mazoon Dairy Company. He worked at PASI and Oman Airport for ten years as an Oracle developer and a Net programmer. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Coventry University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from SQU. A certified Oracle Associate, he has a thorough understanding of SQL/PLSQL. He conducts training on a variety of IT-related topics.

  • Dr. Yasmeen Al Balushi

    Assistant professor at CBFS. She has almost 15 years of experience in academics and industry. She worked as an assistant professor at University of Technology and Applied Sciences Nizwa, as a part-time faculty, at SQU, Tutor at University of Waikato, New Zealand, and accountant at Oman Housing Bank (OHB). She received significant Emerald Literati Awards for highly commended papers and exceptional pieces of work in 2020. She holds Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, from SQU, Master’s Degree in International Accounting and Finance, from University of Birmingham, UK and Ph.D. in Islamic Finance from the University of Waikato, New Zealand. She conducts training in accounting and finance.

  • Mr. Yousuf Al Khanbashi

    Lecturer at the Centre for Preparatory Studies of CBFS. He holds a Master’s degree in Digital Technologies, Communication and Education from University of Manchester - UK. He holds a bachelor’s degree in instructional and teaching technologies from SQU. His teaching experience at higher education institutions in Oman spans more than 13 years. He conducts training on a variety of IT-related topics.

  • Dr. Zaynab Nadeem

    Assistant Professor at CBFS. She has over 16 years of teaching and training experience in Iraq and Oman. She has a Master of Science in Business Administration and a Doctorate in Management. She has authored a book in Total Quality Management. She conducts training in retail banking, marketing and soft skills.
