Description:

The Diploma in Insurance is a technical and supervisory qualification for insurance staff working across all sectors of the industry. The Diploma provides a firm grounding in insurance fundamentals and will enable you to build towards advanced industry knowledge. As the starting point for people wishing to gain a qualification in general insurance, it ideally fits into the induction training of individuals new to the industry.

 

Entry Requirements:

Students who have passed Third Secondary School securing 60 per cent, GSCE or an equivalent qualification are eligible. In case of applicants for whom English is not the first language an IELTS score of 5 or equivalent will also be required.

 

Course Content:

The course comprises of 16 units of which 8 units are drawn from the available range of subjects in the BTEC- HND curriculum while the remaining 8 modules have been developed and customized by the College of Banking and Financial Studies in consultation with the Edexcel authorities to cater to the domestic market requirements.
