Description:

The primary purpose of this course is to prepare students for the Diploma in Banking and Membership of Institute of Canadian Bankers.

 

Entry Requirements:

GCSE or an equivalent qualification. All applications are considered individually and all equivalent UK and international qualifications are accepted. For applicants for whom English is not their first language, an IELTS score of 5 or equivalent will also be required.

Introduction to Bank Financial Management
Fundamentals of Personal Finance / or Consumer Credit
The student must have one year of Financial Service Experience or must complete the AICB Integrative Project to become eligible for the AICB designation.

Description:

This degree is being offered in response to the accelerating demand for such educational opportunities, as well as the need for qualified personnel with specialized knowledge and skills in the industry. This degree provides grounding in Banking and Finance within a strong social science framework. The degree has been developed and written by leaders in both academic research and in the professional Banking and Financial market. The curriculum is designed in such a way that not only high school leavers but also working professionals can pursue their educational qualification. The undergraduate programme is designed to help develop important skills and to help succeed in the Banking and Financial sectors.

 

Entry Requirements:

High school leavers grade C or above in secondary high school including grade C or above in both Mathematics and English. IELTS 5.5 or above or equivalent.

Duration:

To graduate, a student has to complete 120 credit hours that are split into college requirements, specialization requirements and elective courses as shown in the programme content. Courses are offered in two main semesters (first and second) in addition to the summer semester.
